Information Security Senior Accreditor (Remote)

The Information Security Senior Accreditor will manage end to end information security accreditation and assessment activities. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a capable professional with a solid foundation in information security to make a meaningful impact within the cyber security sector.

Description

• Manage end-to-end accreditation activities
• Assess accreditation applications, review supporting documentation, and make risk-based decisions
• Provide expert guidance on information security best practices and compliance requirements
• Support and enforce adherence to recognised information security standards such as ISO 27001
• Operate independently while managing workload, priorities, and stakeholder expectations
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear accreditation outcomes and rationale
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accreditation processes

Profile

• Proven expertise in information security GRC or accreditation process
• Strong understanding of information security framework / standards like ISO27001, NIST, CREST, CAF
• Understanding of software development life cycle is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the technology sector or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
