Location: Hull
Salary: £38,000 + Bonus
Hours: 37.5 per week (8:30am–4:30pm, flexible working)
Hybrid Working: 1 day per week working from home
Holidays: 25 days

Responsibilities of an Inside Business Development Manager:

  • Deliver against new business and cross-sell targets across your region.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas through telephone and Teams meetings.
  • Drive advertising revenue through proactive telesales and key account management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key customers, advertising agencies, and distributors.
  • Manage the full order journey from enquiry and sales through to purchase orders, manufacture, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including supply chain, planning, and production to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Track forecasts, commission payments, and CRM activity to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Manage client stock levels, prepare monthly reports, and identify slow-moving or low-stock items.
  • Work autonomously while supporting colleagues and contributing to team success.

Requirements of an Inside Business Development Manager:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and account management skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple customer and supplier relationships and build strong relationships.
  • Results-driven mindset with strong forecasting and reporting capabilities.
