Interim Headteacher

Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced senior leader for an interim Headteacher job in Farnham, Hampshire (GU10). If you are a SEND specialist who is available for a long-term, interim job we would be keen to speak with you.

If you are an experienced Headteacher or an experienced Deputy Headteacher seeking a more senior post who has worked with pupils with SEHM across either primary or secondary phases this role may be for you. We are currently supporting an established alternative provision based in Farnham, the site currently offers support for up to 12 pupils aged 7-17 with SEND requirements such as SEMH and PSB. Ideally, we are seeking a senior leader who can be available on-site full time, however a part time working pattern may be agreed depending on commute times. Accommodation may also be provided as part of the interim package.

This site is part of a national trust who are focussed on supporting children with complex behaviours and needs. Their pupils have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and they work closely with them to develop self-belief to become effective learners. We are very interested in speaking to senior leaders who have a therapeutic style and ethos. If you are of a similar mindset, we would be very happy to discuss the role in more detail.

A relevant UK based teaching and/or leadership qualification.

Substantial experience working with pupils with SEND within an education setting.

All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.

Exceptional references.

Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements. This will be followed with an online introduction to a Regional Director of the MAT, and a tour of the setting can then be arranged. You will work solely with your consultant throughout your registration journey and beyond, always having direct access to speak with them on a one-to-one basis.

Proposed start date: Immediately

Daily rate £400 to £500 per day
