Based onsite - Fulltime - 37.5 hours

Elevation Recruitment Group are urgently looking to support one of our Manufacturing clients in Huddersfield who due to increased activity and workload as well as covering for annual leave are looking to appoint an Interim HRBP for a period of c3 months.

The role will work as part of the HR team and the level reflects the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision on a range of generalist HR activities.

The role will support on a range of activities including:

• Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability and performance issues.
• Building the HR functionality within the new Business Management System
• Supporting on structural changes/shift changes etc across the site;
• Supporting the L&D function with ad-hoc facilitation of L&D and Training activities
• Providing advice and support to the recruitment team with ongoing hires
• Ensure HR policies, procedures and practices remain compliant with current employment legislation and collective agreements.
• Contribute to the delivery of key HR projects and continuous improvement activities across the business.

To be successful in the role

• Immediately available and able to commit to a 3 month contract - onsite
• Previous experience operating as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or equivalent within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
• Strong generalist HR knowledge with a solid understanding of UK employment law.
• Experience working within a unionised environment
• Proven experience handling complex employee relations issues and organisational change programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively at all levels.
• A pragmatic, commercially focused approach and the confidence to work autonomously.
