The Interim Procurement Officer will be supporting with documentation and process mapping for a public sector organisation, you will be taking ownership of procurement processes end-to-end and providing expert public sector procurement knowledge.

Description
- Oversee procurement activity, ensuring alignment with internal policies and relevant public sector frameworks
- Drive value through effective sourcing approaches and commercial decision-making
- Lead the creation and assessment of tender documentation to secure the most suitable supplier outcomes
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, offering guidance on procurement processes and best practice
- Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and internal governance standards
- Track and document procurement activity, producing clear reporting to support visibility and decision-making
Profile
Experience in the following:
- Proven experience in public sector procurement, using PA23 regulations.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
- The ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Job Offer
Interim Procurement Officer role paying up to £375 per day (Inside IR35), offering hybrid working with 1 day a week onsite in North West.
