We are seeking an experienced Interim Registered Manager to provide strong, stabilising leadership for an elderly care home in the South West. This is a hands‑on role requiring a confident leader who can quickly assess the service, drive improvements, and ensure full compliance during a period of transition.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Service leadership ensuring safe, effective, and person‑centred care

  • Rapidly identifying risks and implementing robust action plans

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting the staff team to deliver high‑quality care

  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and preparing for inspections

  • Strengthening documentation, governance, and quality assurance processes

  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals

  • Providing clear, regular reporting to senior leadership



Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in elderly residential or nursing care

  • Strong working knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and quality frameworks

  • Able to step into a service and make an immediate impact

  • Calm, confident, and solutions‑focused leadership style

  • Excellent communication and people‑management skills

  • Available for a 3-6 month interim contract and comfortable working on a day‑rate basis
