About the role:

As the Internal Recruiter, you’ll play a key role in attracting, hiring and retaining high-quality talent across a designated business area. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, provide expert recruitment support, and ensure a seamless, candidate-centric experience throughout the hiring lifecycle.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, acting as their first point of contact for recruitment needs

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand new vacancies and create compelling, optimised job adverts

  • Post roles across job boards and social channels to attract diverse talent

  • Proactively source candidates using job boards, social media and smart sourcing techniques

  • Screen applicants against agreed criteria and coordinate interviews within agreed timeframes

  • Deliver excellent customer service to both hiring managers and candidates

  • Manage the offer and compliance process, ensuring consistency and timely completion

  • Maintain accurate recruitment administration using  the ATS

  • Analyse recruitment data, including time-to-hire and key KPIs

  • Support the wider TA team to ensure a smooth, efficient recruitment process

  • Work collaboratively with the wider HR function to deliver a joined-up service

  • Attend careers fairs, recruitment events and community engagement activities to promote opportunities

Role Criteria:

  • Previous recruitment experience (in-house or agency)

  • Friendly and approachable, with the ability to build positive relationships

  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

  • High attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy

  • Proactive, with the confidence to use initiative and take ownership of tasks

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

  • Resilient, adaptable and confident making independent decisions

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience with ATS systems (Occupop desirable)
