Location: Southampton
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)
Every other Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm (reducing with growth)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on relevant industry experience)
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a confident, customer-focused Sales Executive to join a thriving and busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a similar industry background who enjoys building relationships, driving sales, and delivering a first-class customer experience.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be at the heart of the operation, supporting customers over the phone and face-to-face, managing orders and playing a key role in business growth.
What you’ll be doing as the Sales Executive:
- Preparing quotes and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Picking and managing orders through to completion
- Handling customer queries, returns, and resolving issues promptly
- Building strong relationships with existing clients and maintaining repeat business
- Identifying and developing new sales opportunities within your customer base
- Supporting trade counter sales and delivering excellent face-to-face service
- Managing inbound and outbound sales calls
- Collaborating with the wider team to achieve sales and service targets
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar industry or sales environment is essential
- Confident communicator, both over the phone and in person
- A proactive, sales-driven mindset with a passion for customer service
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Good IT skills with the ability to manage orders and customer data
