My client is looking for an organised Internal Sales Support person to work closely with the Account Management team and help keep customer requirements, order information and follow-up actions moving properly.
This role will suit someone with strong internal sales, order support or customer service experience, ideally gained within an engineering, MRO, industrial supplies or technical distribution environment.
You will support one of the Account Managers as their internal “buddy”, helping with customer enquiries, CRM updates, purchase order follow-up, order tracking and general sales administration.
The Role
Working closely with the Account Management team, you will help make sure customer and order information is accurate, visible and properly followed up.
This will include updating CRM records, tracking purchase orders, chasing missing information and helping to resolve orders that are on hold due to incomplete details.
The role needs someone who is accurate, proactive and comfortable working in a busy internal sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support Account Managers with customer, order and sales administration.
Act as an internal support partner to one Account Manager.
Update CRM records and internal order information.
Track purchase orders and open customer requirements.
Chase missing information from customers, Account Managers or internal teams.
Help manage orders that are on hold due to missing details.
Support customer enquiries and follow-up actions.
Keep trackers, records and open actions accurate and up to date.
Help improve the consistency of internal sales administration.
Experience Required
Internal sales support, sales administration, order processing or customer service experience.
Strong attention to detail and good administration skills.
Confident using CRM systems, databases or order trackers.
Comfortable chasing missing information and keeping actions moving.
Good communication skills.
Able to work in a busy, fast-moving environment.
Desirable Experience
MRO, engineering supplies, industrial distribution or technical product experience.
Experience supporting Account Managers or internal sales teams.
Understanding of engineering, manufacturing or maintenance-related terminology.
The Person
My client is looking for someone organised, accurate and proactive.
You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable working around technical products, customer requirements and order information.
This role would suit someone who enjoys supporting a busy sales team, keeping information tidy and making sure things do not get left unresolved.
Package
£32,000 to £35,000 DOE
Monday to Friday
