International Transport Planner

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum
Location: Dartford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Integral Staff are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our well-established client for an International Transport Planner based in Dartford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to join a fast-paced transport operation specialising in European distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate import and export movements across European routes, with a focus on Benelux and Italy.
• Allocate work to subcontracted drivers, ensuring efficient collection and delivery coverage.
• Manage and build relationships with external hauliers and distributors.
• Sell and source return loads, maximising vehicle utilisation and reducing empty runs.
• Liaise with customers and partners to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
• Monitor ongoing shipments and resolve any issues proactively.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an International Transport Planner / European Planner role (essential).
• Strong understanding of import/export operations and European transport routes.
• Experience working with subcontractors and external hauliers.
• Commercial awareness, particularly in buying and selling loads.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
