About the Team

The Intervention & Care Planning Team works with children and families where longer-term intervention is required, undertaking assessments, care planning, child protection work, court proceedings and permanence planning.

Youll hold manageable caseloads and work within a supportive team environment led by experienced managers committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
Managing complex child protection and child in need cases
Completing assessments, care plans and statutory visits
Working with children subject to Child Protection Plans and Public Law Outline processes
Undertaking court work and care proceedings where required
Building strong relationships with children, families and partner agencies
Delivering high-quality, child-focused social work practice
What Were Looking For
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience in Childrens Services
Strong experience within Child Protection, Court Work and Care Planning
Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload
Excellent assessment, analytical and report-writing skills
Ofsted-Rated Childrens Services
