Intervention Support Assistant

A school is looking for a dedicated Intervention Support Assistant to work with pupils who need targeted support to help them make progress in key areas of learning. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and confident working with individuals and small groups.
You will help deliver focused intervention sessions, support pupils with their learning, and work closely with teachers to help close gaps in understanding and build confidence.
Requirements:
Experience supporting children or young people in a school setting.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A patient, positive, and encouraging approach.
Ability to support individuals and small groups effectively.
Enhanced DBS and references.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver targeted intervention sessions to support learning.
Work with pupils who need additional help in literacy, numeracy, or other key areas.
Track progress and encourage positive engagement.
Support teachers with planning and delivery of intervention work.
Help pupils build confidence, independence, and academic progress.
