About the Role
Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Hackney to appoint an SEN & Interventions Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will work both 1:1 and in small groups, delivering targeted interventions and supporting pupils with additional needs across the school. You will play a key role in identifying where support is most needed across different classes and helping to implement strategies that improve outcomes for pupils.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Delivering targeted interventions across Key Stage 2
- Working closely with class teachers and the SENCo to identify areas of need
- Supporting learning across multiple classes where required
- Promoting engagement, confidence, and progress in pupils with additional needs
