Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Stocksbridge to recruit an Inventory Controller to join their supply chain team.

This role is suited to an organised and detail-oriented individual with previous inventory or stock control experience within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production requirements, and ensuring efficient inventory processes across the site.

• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials and finished goods
• Carry out cycle counts and investigate stock discrepancies
• Reconcile stock levels and support inventory reporting
• Work closely with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability
• Monitor stock movements and identify potential shortages or excess stock
• Update and maintain ERP/MRP system data accurately
• Support continuous improvement activities within inventory control processes

• Previous experience in an Inventory Controller, Stock Controller, or Materials Controller position
• Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Good working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Able to manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments

• Salary of £28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience
