A specialist Intellectual Property law firm based in the heart of the City is seeking an IP Patent Paralegal to join its growing team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with 1-2 years' experience within a specialist IP or wider commercial law firm to join a highly regarded practice known for its technical expertise, collaborative culture and high-quality client base.

The IP Patent Paralegal Role

The successful IP Patent Paralegal will support attorneys and fee earners across a broad range of patent prosecution and portfolio management matters. The role will involve significant client contact, administrative coordination and exposure to both UK and international patent filings.

The IP Patent Paralegal will assist with:

* Preparing and filing patent applications and related documentation
* Managing deadlines and maintaining patent records and databases
* Liaising with clients, foreign associates and official bodies
* Preparing correspondence and legal documents
* Supporting attorneys with portfolio administration and prosecution matters
* Monitoring filing deadlines and ensuring compliance requirements are met
* General administrative and paralegal support across the IP team

The IP Patent Paralegal

The ideal candidate will have:

* 1-2 years' experience as an IP Patent Paralegal within a law firm
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Experience managing deadlines and handling sensitive documentation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive and professional approach
* The ability to work effectively within a busy specialist team
