Junior BMS Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior BMS Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering Building Management System (BMS) projects for a range of national and multinational clients across Ireland.

This role is ideally suited to a recent engineering graduate or someone with a background in HVAC, electrical, automation, instrumentation, refrigeration, or building services who is looking to develop a long-term career in the building automation industry.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience commissioning and testing BMS systems on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, with clear progression opportunities into design and engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the engineering and commissioning of BMS systems
• Supporting testing, fault finding, and system validation activities
• Working closely with senior engineers to deliver projects safely and efficiently
• Producing and maintaining accurate project documentation
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders on site
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company and industry standards

Desired Experience

• Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in an Engineering discipline
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
• Understanding of automation and control systems
• Electrical and instrumentation knowledge
• Good computer literacy
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
