Salary: Up to £35,000

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be supporting a well-established and growing business in Doncaster with the recruitment of a Junior Buyer.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious procurement professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider procurement and supply chain team, supporting purchasing activities and supplier management across the business.

• Support the procurement team with day-to-day purchasing activities
• Raise and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Monitor stock levels and supplier performance
• Assist with sourcing new suppliers and negotiating pricing where appropriate
• Resolve delivery issues and invoice queries efficiently
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and system data
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function

• Previous experience within a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and relationship-building abilities
• A proactive and positive approach to work
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
• A desire to develop a long-term career within procurement
• CIPS qualification or studying towards this would be advantageous
