Job Title: Junior Mechanical Engineer

Overview
As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a hands-on technical role supporting the design and delivery of integrated renewable energy systems. These include radiant heating and cooling, mechanical ventilation, solar solutions, and smart controls.

This position is ideal for a motivated MEng or MSc graduate with 1–2 years of experience who is looking to build a career in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector. You will contribute to a variety of technical activities, including producing CAD drawings, developing panel layouts, and performing key calculations such as heat load, airflow, and solar consumption analysis. Your work will directly support the wider design and quotation process.

You will collaborate closely with installers across the UK, ensuring they clearly understand system designs and product specifications. A strong willingness to learn is essential, and the company is committed to supporting your development through structured training and mentoring. Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive mindset will be highly valued in this role.

Reporting to the Technical Director and supported by the Head of Design, you will receive ongoing guidance as you develop your technical expertise and industry knowledge.

The business supplies integrated renewable heating, cooling, and ventilation systems to installers nationwide, while a sister company delivers installation and maintenance services. This role will involve working across projects for both organisations.

The organisation is passionate about innovation and simplifying complex technologies for customers. As an industry leader, it partners with leading European manufacturers to bring cutting-edge solutions to the UK market. It prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service alongside robust technical support.
