We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to work within a busy school kitchen in Allington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking work during school hours, with weekends and school holidays off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of food and meals for pupils
- Serving food and supporting during busy lunch periods
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Washing up and maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Following food safety and health & safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is beneficial
- A valid DBS check is required (or willingness to obtain one)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
