This is an exciting opportunity to join a design-led business with a strong showroom presence, excellent product offering, and a supportive back-office team covering purchasing, customer service, and logistics.
About the RoleThis role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work as a Kitchen Sales Designer, creating and selling high-quality kitchen designs while building strong relationships with both new and existing customers. You will manage projects from initial consultation through to completion, delivering exceptional design solutions and ensuring a premium customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone within the showroom.
- Meet with customers to prepare and develop design briefs and quotations.
- Design and present inspiring kitchen solutions with strong attention to detail.
- Use CAD and design software (e.g. Compusoft / Winner Design desirable) to produce accurate plans.
- Where required, carry out home surveys to support accurate design work.
- Sell and design luxury kitchen projects ranging from mid to high-value installations.
- Manage customer projects from initial enquiry through to completion where required.
- Liaise with installation teams to support smooth project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships with excellent aftersales service.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within the kitchen industry is essential.
- Strong background in kitchen sales and design.
- Experience working with CAD design software (Winner Design / Compusoft preferred).
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and target-driven.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into practical design solutions.
- Showroom experience is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Competitive salary of £30,000 per annum plus commission.
- Full-time role (42.5 hours per week, including unpaid lunch break).
