Kitchen Repair Technician/Fitter

Elevations Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering Services Division are supporting our market leading building products manufacturing client to recruit a driven and dynamic Kitchen Repair Technician. This is a field based regional role in a patch covering the following postcode areas: YO, HU, WF, DN, and LN.

The Kitchen Repair Technician will perform a critical role as part of the Customer Care Team who are dedicated to providing excellent service to homeowners who have reported faults or damages on their newly installed kitchens.

The Customer Care Team are extremely well organised and take care when booking your appointments to give you time to correctly solve issues and communicate to the customer whilst performing corrective actions to provide a final fix.

As the Kitchen Repair Technician, you will need to be experienced in all aspects of kitchen fitting, including cabinets, worktops, pelmets, cornices and housing for internal appliances as well as using all associated hand and power tools.

The Kitchen Repair Technician is a permanent role working flexibly Monday to Friday. You will be given a company van and all of the tools you need to do your job. There is an excellent salary and company benefits.

The key responsibilities of the Kitchen Repair Technician will include:

• Travelling to customer homes within your designated patch
• Problem solving, diagnosing issues, and fixing faults
• Liaising with the internal Customer Care Team, external Site Agents, and home owners
• Checking stock in your storage unit and your van

Skills and Experience required for the Kitchen Repair Technician role include:

• Kitchen fitting
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• CSCS Card
• A full UK driving licence
• Excellent time management skills
• Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels
• Have an excellent manner with customers
• Willing to work as part of a dynamic team
• A keen eye for detail
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Professionally presentable at all times
