As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping children's early educational experiences, helping them build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and personal development. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ambitious Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking a nurturing school environment where they can develop and progress in their teaching career.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress.
- Support pupils' academic and personal development.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt the curriculum based on individual needs including for children with SEND or EAL.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Commitment to raising attainment and achievement.
