A specialist SEN school in Redhill is seeking a dedicated and experienced KS2 SEN Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with additional needs in a structured and supportive learning environment.
About the Role
As a KS2 SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and highly differentiated lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs, ensuring every child can access learning and achieve their potential.
Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering adapted KS2 lessons to meet individual learning needs

Supporting pupils with SEN such as Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties
-
Creating a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff to deliver personalised learning
-
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress against EHCP targets and learning outcomes

Implementing strategies to support positive behaviour and emotional regulation
-
Working collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, and parents
Requirements
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
-
Experience teaching KS2
-
Previous experience working in a SEN school or with pupils with additional needs

Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
-
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
