Laboratory Technician

Talentmark are recruiting for a  Laboratory Technician to join a small biotechnology company that develop and supply PCR kits, to be based at their site in Harlow, Essex on a permanent basis. The salary on offer is £25,000- £27,000.00

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring laboratory operations are conducted accurately, safely and efficiently.


The role:

Labelling and aliquoting reagents and materials in accordance with written procedures
  • Washing, preparing and maintaining laboratory glassware and equipment
  • Preparing buffers, reagents and solutions 
  • Supporting protein purification and manufacturing processes
  • Maintaining appropriate stock levels of laboratory consumables
  • Ensuring laboratory areas remain clean and organised
  • Completing documentation and maintaining accurate laboratory records
Your Background:

  • A degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Plant Science, or a related biological discipline
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience in a molecular biology laboratory
