Labourer

Orbit Workforce Solutions are recruiting for a Labourer / Carpenter’s Mate on behalf of a growing specialist construction company.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in carpentry and construction who is looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career within the trade.

Responsibilities

• Assisting skilled carpenters on-site
• General labouring duties
• Loading and unloading materials
• Keeping work areas clean and organised
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Supporting installations and workshop preparation

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and own transport essential
• Previous experience working alongside carpenters preferred, or a genuine interest in getting into the carpentry trade
• Hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn
• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• CSCS card beneficial but not essential
