Laser Operative

Location: Andover
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive - dependent on experience

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Laser Setter Operator to join a busy and successful manufacturing team based in Andover. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where quality and teamwork are key.

• Setting and operating CNC laser cutting machines
• Loading materials using crane or forklift
• Producing high-quality laser-cut parts to specification
• Deburring and preparing parts ready for production
• Performing machine checks, maintenance, and fault reporting
• Supporting wider production when needed (press brake, assembly, fitting)
• Breaking out parts from laser beds
• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and production deadlines

• Previous experience in laser setting/operation
• Forklift experience essential
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and job instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

Advantageous:

• Experience operating a Press Brake
• Forklift licence
• Full UK driving licence
