Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house — from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. Laser Operative

This is a superb opportunity for a Laser Operative to join the business through this rapid period of growth.

Responsibilities:

• Work in accordance with Wilmott Group procedures and bespoke systems
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and clients
• Inspect parts and materials using a variety of inspection methods
• Follow and interpret technical drawings and nest sheets
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of work areas
• Use engineering measuring tools (e.g. Verniers, callipers, micrometres)
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery
• Inspect and check materials before production
• Handle materials safely for transport to other departments
• Clean and prepare finished parts for the next stage of production
• Meet tight deadlines and productivity targets
• Report issues, delays, or concerns promptly
• Support other departments with general duties when required
• Comply with all health & safety procedures and report any hazards
• Wear and maintain appropriate PPE at all times
• Hours: Static -Days 6am till 2pm, Afternoons 2pm till 10pm (15% shift allowance), Nights 10pm till 6am (30% shift allowance).
