Laser & Press Brake Operative - Barnsley (Permanent Role)

We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Laser & Press Brake Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Barnsley on a permanent basis.

The role:

• Programming and running laser cutting and press brake machines
• Loading and unloading materials (including use of cranes/FLT where required)
• Carrying out routine machine maintenance and reporting faults
• Working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality parts
• Recording output, wastage and quality checks
• Ensuring all work meets company quality standards

What we're looking for:

• Experience operating laser and/or press brake machinery
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and quality
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• Team player with a positive attitude

Pay & Hours:

• £13.80 per hour (training/start rate)
• +30% shift allowance on afters
• +40% shift allowance on nights
• Rotating shifts
