Our client, a reputable company based in Portsmouth, is actively seeking a skilled LCV Technician to join their professional team.

Duties for a LCV Technician:
  • Conduct detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs on vans across various brands
  • Follow manufacturer repair procedures and complete job cards accurately
  • Remove, refit, and replace parts efficiently and to a high standard
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, applying analytical problem-solving skills
  • Perform safety checks and mechanical inspections on incoming vehicles
  • Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
  • Ensure all work is completed within specified timeframes and quality standards
  • Support team members to foster a productive and collaborative working environment
Requirements for a LCV Technician:
  • Proven experience as a LCV Technician or similar role within the automotive industry
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fitting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid MOT Tester’s qualification (Class 4/5/7) or willingness to undergo training
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Adaptability to fast-paced work environments and changing priorities
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workshop
  • Flexibility to work early or late shifts as required, including occasional Saturdays
  • Willingness to undertake MOT testing qualification if not already qualified
