The Role

As the Lead Construction Planner, you will develop, manage, and control the integrated construction schedule for a high-profile carbon capture project in Padeswood, North Wales. Your daily responsibilities will include creating detailed schedules using Primavera P6, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring schedule integrity, and monitoring progress against milestones. You will lead planning meetings, facilitate scheduling strategies, assess scope changes, and develop mitigation plans to keep the project on track.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

  • Proven experience in senior or lead planning roles within industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of Primavera P6 and construction scheduling principles.
  • Expert understanding of construction execution, sequencing, and stakeholder management in live environments.
  • Strong analytical and leadership capabilities, with excellent communication skills.
  • Relevant degree or qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Controls; professional accreditation such as APM or PMI is advantageous.
