Have you ever felt that your experience in construction trades could make a real difference beyond the workshop and help shape the next generation of skilled professionals?

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional to support learners completing Foundation Apprenticeship in Brickwork, Carpentry and Plastering.

At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Multi Skills Learning Coach to join their expanding team based in Manchester.

You will play a key role in delivering high quality practical training and coaching while supporting learners through their apprenticeship journey in construction. You will help individuals develop essential trade skills, confidence and employability skills needed to progress into long term careers

What you will be doing:
• Coach and inspire apprentices to develop practical construction skills and knowledge
• Manage a caseload of Level 2 Foundation Apprenticeship learners
• Deliver engaging practical training sessions in Brickwork, Carpentry and Plastering
• Teach basic construction techniques including mixing cement, cutting methods and tool use
• Assess, mark, and provide feedback on learner work and progress
• Observe workplace practice and provide constructive feedback to support development
• Visit employers to support apprentices in the workplace and help them settle into their role
• Monitor learner progress and provide regular support and interventions where required
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress, reviews and achievement


What we are looking for:
• Strong occupational experience within construction or multi skills trades
• Knowledge of Brickwork, Carpentry and Plastering techniques
• Understanding of health and safety regulations within construction environments
• Experience of coaching, training, or supporting others in a workplace setting
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to employer sites

Essential qualifications:
• Relevant construction trade experience in Brickwork, Carpentry or Plastering
• Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths or willingness to work towards
• Strong practical industry knowledge and competence within onsite construction trades

Desirable:
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one with employer support
• Assessor qualification such as TAQA, CAVA or equivalent
• Previous experience delivering apprenticeship or vocational training programmes
• Experience within education, training or apprenticeship delivery settings

Salary and benefits:
Salary £29,000 - £34,250 per annum
