Salary: £92 - £95 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Cardiff that is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant on a long-term basis. The school prides itself on creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child is supported to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

The school is looking for a caring and adaptable Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with ALN on a daily basis from September 2026. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and wider support team to provide tailored support to pupils, including personal care where required, while maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

Experience working with children with ALN within a school or care setting

A caring and patient approach to supporting young people

The ability to support pupils with personal care when required

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

Flexibility and the ability to think on their feet

A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
