TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Cardiff, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. The school creates a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential, while staff are supported by a strong Senior Leadership Team and excellent classroom resources.

The school is looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant on a part-time, long-term basis working mornings only. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be supporting pupils across the primary age range, providing 1-1 and small group support to children with additional learning needs / ALN, helping to encourage engagement, confidence and independence within the classroom.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

Experience working with children in a school or educational setting

Experience supporting children with additional learning needs / ALN

A positive and proactive attitude

Excellent communication skills

The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff

A caring and patient approach
