    Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across a range of Digital and Computing programmes.
  • Design and implement schemes of work and learning activities that promote achievement and progression.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide timely assessment and feedback.
  • Foster an inclusive learning environment that motivates students to reach their full potential.
  • Support learners both academically and pastorally throughout their studies.
  • Maintain accurate records relating to attendance, achievement and learner outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Utilise digital technologies and blended learning approaches to enrich the student experience.
  • Build relationships with employers and external stakeholders to support industry engagement.
  • Contribute to curriculum development to ensure programmes remain relevant and responsive to sector demands.
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.


  • Essential Requirements

  • Experience delivering high-quality teaching and achieving strong learner outcomes.
  • Knowledge of curriculum planning, assessment and quality processes.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding, equality and diversity, and health and safety requirements.
  • Experience delivering specialist Computing subjects such as Programming, Networking, Web Development or Cyber Security.
  • Strong digital literacy and the ability to incorporate technology into teaching practice.


  • Desirable Requirements

  • Previous industry experience within the digital or technology sector.
  • Experience teaching Higher Education programmes.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, including cloud services, software development or game design.
  • Experience delivering programmes across a range of qualification levels.
