As the college continues to grow and strengthen its provision, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join our team at the Deeside campus.
The RoleWe are looking for a motivated individual to deliver high‑quality teaching across our Electrical Installation courses. You will provide both practical and classroom‑based learning, support learners from a wide range of backgrounds, and contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:-
Deliver practical and theoretical teaching sessions

Prepare relevant learning materials

Mark and assess student work

Support learners through feedback, guidance and pastoral care

Build positive working relationships with learners and colleagues

Manage groups of learners and promote positive behaviour

Maintain accurate documentation such as registers, schemes of work and course records
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

A Level 3 qualification or higher in Electrical Installation or a related subject

A Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g., Cert Ed/PGCE) or be working towards one

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The ability to work independently and on your own initiative

An Assessor or Verifier qualification, or be working towards one

An understanding of quality standards within teaching

Empathy and understanding of a range of additional learning needs

Behaviour management skills and the ability to handle challenges

Essential Welsh language skills for this role
