Salary: Unqualified Lecturer: £29,294 per year Qualified Lecturer: £31,885 - £40,814 per year (Depending on Skills, Qualifications & Experience)

What You’ll Do 

• Teach and assess learners across IT and Computing programmes, including full-time study programmes, vocational qualifications, and enrichment activities 
• Deliver engaging and inclusive sessions across classroom-based, workshop, and practical digital learning environments 
• Support learners in developing key technical skills such as programming, networking, cyber security awareness, hardware and software troubleshooting, systems analysis, and digital problem-solving 
• Embed current knowledge of the IT and Computing sector, including emerging technologies, digital professionalism, cyber awareness, equality, diversity, and employability skills 
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, learner support, and professionalism 
• Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement, progression, and career readiness 

  

What You’ll Bring 

• A Level 3 or above qualification in IT, Computing, Computer Science, Digital Technologies, Cyber Security, Software Development, Networking, or a related subject 
• Relevant industry experience within IT/Computing role, such as software development, technical support, networking, cyber security, systems administration, data, or wider digital technology environments 
• Knowledge of current industry practices, digital trends, employability skills, and learner development 
• Experience supporting, mentoring, coaching, or developing others in a professional setting 
• A teaching qualification is welcomed — but if you don’t have one yet, we’ll support you to achieve it while you work
