Job Title: Legionella Remedial Plumber

Location: Walsall, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £38k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued company success, a well-known name within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry is recruiting for a switched-on and hardworking Legionella Remedial Plumber. You will be servicing a range of commercial, domestic and public sector client sites, performing pre-planned maintenance, and reactive works when needed. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong plumbing experience and will have good knowledge of ACOP L8 guidelines. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: overtime, pension scheme, company vehicle and annual leave allowance.

Locations of work include: Walsall, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Solihull, Stourbridge, Kidderminder, Droitwich Spa, Redditch, Coventry, Worcester, Telford, Stafford, Cannock, Rugeley, Lichfield, Tamworth, Leicester, Daventry, Rugby, Northampton, Coalville, Loughborpugh, Derby, Nottingham, Stoke-on-Trent, Melton Mowbray.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Legionella Remedial Plumber
• Must be qualified with the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing as a minimum
• It would be advantageous to hold the G3 Unvented ticket and / or NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing
• Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Able to travel in line with company needs
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Undertaking a variety of pre-planned remedial / plumbing duties
• TMV servicing and replacements
• POU heater servicing and installations
• Valve replacements
• Pipework modifications and installations
• Installing and servicing of unvented hot water cylinders
• CWST installations and refurbishments
• Deadleg removals
• Carrying out reactive/urgent works when needed
• Completing regular service reports
• Working to agreed deadlines
