Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary & Secondary (Mainstream & SEN)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Rochdale from September 2026. Roles are available in both mainstream and SEN settings, offering a variety of opportunities to support pupils with different needs and abilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified TA who is looking for flexible work across multiple settings, or a long-term placement within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils in both classroom and small group settings
• Provide targeted support for learning, behaviour, and emotional development
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Work with pupils with a range of needs, including SEN and SEMH
• Support classroom management and daily routines
• Help create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment
• Adapt support strategies to meet individual pupil needs

About You

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Experience working in either primary or secondary settings
• Experience supporting SEN or SEMH pupils is desirable but not essential
• Confident, patient, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
