Teaching Personnel is working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the DH8 area who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and dedicated team.

Role OverviewAs a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Work with pupils across a range of year groups
- Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups
- Provide additional support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Assist with classroom organisation and lesson preparation
- Promote positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
To be considered, you must:
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Have prior experience working within a primary school setting
- Ideally have experience supporting pupils with SEN
- Be confident working across different year groups
- Demonstrate a calm, patient, and caring approach
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
