Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Contract: Term time only

A supportive school is looking for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for pupils who need additional help with learning, engagement, and personal development. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about making a positive difference.

You will work closely with class teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning, stay focused, and build confidence in the classroom.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

• Experience providing 1:1 support in a school setting.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach.

• Enhanced DBS and references.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.

• Help pupils access learning and stay engaged in lessons.

• Support behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence.

• Work closely with teachers and SEN staff.

• Encourage progress, confidence, and positive engagement.
