LGV Class 1 Driver

General details & requirements:

• This will be Wagon and Drag night trunking work, usually starting between 17:00-21:00. – full training will be provided by the customer.
• Shifts will generally be Monday to Friday, with some occasional weekend shifts available.
• In addition to driving Wagon and Drag vehicles you will also drive LGV1 artic vehicles occasionally.
• You must be 25 years of age or older for insurance purposes.
• You will be required to pass an assessment.
• We will need to provide our customer with a 5 year work history.

Candidates must have the following documents:

• UK C+E licence – ideally with 1 year of practical experience but new drivers are also welcome to apply.
• UK Digital tachograph card
• UK CPC card

Payment information:

Please note this position is PAYE only:

• Monday to Sunday, first 8 hours - £21.40
• Overtime after 8 hours - £26.47
• 6th Day - £31.53
• Night Shift allowance - extra £11.76 per shift
• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed
• A 1 hour break will be deducted after the minimum hours worked
• Weekly payments every Friday
