LGV Driver - Bracknell

We are working with a leading specialist business operating across the water, environmental, and infrastructure sectors who are seeking an LGV Driver to join their Bracknell operation.

This is an opportunity to join an established organisation supporting the movement and installation of specialist pumping equipment across customer sites and branch locations, where safety, reliability, and service standards are central to success.

You will be responsible for loading, delivering, and collecting pumps and associated equipment between customer sites and branches, ensuring all work is carried out safely, professionally, and efficiently.

The role requires a Class 2 licence, HIAB/ALMI qualification, and previous experience operating within a similar environment, alongside a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect pumps and associated equipment between customer sites and branches.
• Ensure all loading and unloading activities are completed safely and efficiently, including manual handling where required.
• Operate in full compliance with tachograph legislation, drivers’ hours regulations, and Working Time Directive requirements.
• Carry out vehicle maintenance and defect checks, reporting issues promptly.
• Support safe installation of pumping equipment using lorry mounted crane equipment.
• Maintain accurate vehicle, mileage, and transport records.
• Liaise with branch teams, hire desk colleagues, and customers to ensure deliveries are completed to a high standard.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with transport and site regulations.
• Participate in an on-call rota as required by the business.

Skills & Experience Required

• Full LGV Class 2 licence with no more than 6 points.
• HIAB/ALMI qualification is essential.
• Previous experience working within a similar industry or driving environment.
• Good level of physical fitness, able to safely load, unload, and secure equipment.
• Strong understanding of tachograph regulations, drivers’ hours, and transport compliance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Flexible and adaptable approach, able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done safely and correctly.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Summary:

Duration: Permanent, full-time

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 Including Overtime + Benefits
