Loan Manager – Bridging & Development Finance

A high-growth specialist lender is expanding and looking to appoint a Loan Manager to play a central role in driving deal flow and execution. This is a hands-on position combining underwriting, deal structuring, and broker relationship management within an ambitious, entrepreneurial environment.

Working directly with the Head of Credit, you’ll benefit from:

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll manage transactions end-to-end, ensuring deals progress efficiently and commercially.

  • Underwriting bridging and development finance applications
  • Structuring deals in line with credit policy and commercial judgement
  • Managing cases from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Building and maintaining strong broker and intermediary relationships
  • Providing timely updates and resolving issues early
  • Preparing clear, concise credit papers for approval
  • Working closely with Credit, Sales and Operations to deliver a smooth process
  • Contributing to process improvements as the business scales

Experience & knowledge:

  • Background in bridging and/or development finance
  • Experience in underwriting or a combined underwriting and sales role
  • Strong understanding of secured lending and property-backed risk
  • Commercially minded with strong deal structuring ability
  • Confident communicator with brokers and borrowers
  • Highly organised with strong pipeline management skills
  • Detail-focused while working at pace
  • Proactive, ambitious and eager to grow within a scaling team
