Mental Health Support Worker / Support Worker

Location: Cornwall

Staff Partners are currently recruiting dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join a specialist team supporting an individual living independently in their own home.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a consistent and established care team, providing 2:1 support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

About the Role

You will be supporting patient with:

• Autism
• Learning disabilities
• Behaviours that may challenge

The role requires a compassionate, patient, and proactive individual who can deliver high-quality, person-centred care while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing 2:1 support in a home environment
• Supporting with daily living activities
• Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour
• Administering medication in line with guidelines
• Ensuring safeguarding and duty of care at all times
• Promoting independence and dignity

Shift Patterns Available

A mixture of shifts including:

• Early (E)
• Long Day (LD)
• Waking Night (WN)
• Sleep-In (SIN)
• Minimum of 90 hours available per week
• Ongoing work starting next week
• Consistency is key – we are looking to build a reliable team of regular staff

Pay & Benefits:

• £14.24 - £16ph
