We are a well-established UK wholesale business supplying a wide range of quality products to customers nationwide.
We are currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of outbound equipment shipments and collections. This is an important role within the business, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods through third-party transport providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily running of outbound deliveries, collections, and equipment shipments
- Schedule and submit transport requests to third-party courier partners in line with agreed timelines
- Act as the main point of contact for couriers and customers regarding logistics queries
- Monitor daily operations and proactively manage any changes, issues, or additional charges
- Raise and manage purchase orders and ensure all relevant shipment documentation is accurately prepared
- Raise and manage damage claims with courier partners where required
- Maintain clear and effective communication across internal teams and external partners
About You
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong administration and customer service skills
- Excellent IT ability (experience with Microsoft Navision is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided)
- High levels of accuracy, dependability, and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and make effective decisions under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach with the confidence to use initiative
- A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
Hours
Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00
