Do you believe every young person deserves the chance to shine?
We're looking for an enthusiastic, patient, and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our friendly secondary school team in Colchester and support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
No two days are the same! One moment you'll be helping a student build confidence in the classroom, the next you'll be celebrating a breakthrough achievement, supporting social development, or helping a young person discover their strengths.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting students with a range of SEN needs both in and out of the classroom
- Working alongside teachers to create an inclusive learning environment
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive engagement
- Building meaningful relationships with students and helping them achieve their potential
- Providing emotional and academic support where needed
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a positive, can-do attitude
- Is patient, resilient, and compassionate
- Enjoys working with young people and making a difference
- Can remain calm under pressure
- Has experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
What we offer:
- A supportive and welcoming school community
- Opportunities for training and professional development
- The chance to make a genuine impact every single day
- A rewarding role where your work truly matters
Whether you're an experienced SEN professional or looking to begin a career in education, we'd love to hear from you.
