About the role… 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated LV Cable Jointer to join our growing utilities and electrical infrastructure team in Grantham. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out low voltage cable jointing, terminations, fault repairs, and associated electrical works across commercial and industrial projects. 

As a LV Cable Jointer you will be...

  • Install, joint, terminate, and repair LV underground cables
  • Carry out fault finding and testing on LV networks
  • Read and interpret network drawings and schematics
  • Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with industry standards
  • Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, and project teams
  • Complete job documentation and reports accurately

About you… 

  • Proven experience as an LV Cable Jointer
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
  • DNO authorisations preferred
  • NRSWA qualification advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • EUSR or CSCS Card
  • Knowledge of relevant DNO Policies and Procedures and a Driving licence is essential as you will be required to travel and work in different locations. 
  • DBS Clearance required as you will be working with the general public.
