Job Overview
The Machine Operative is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing machinery to ensure efficient production of high-qualirt products. The role directly supports business performance through safe working practices, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machinery in accordance wuth standard operating procedures (SOP's)
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain efficiency and quality
- Carry out routine inspections and basic maintenence of equipment
- Identify, report and whwere appropriate resolve faults or defects
- Ensure all products meet required quality standards and specifications
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Work collaboratively to achieve production targets and deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Support continuous imptovement initiatives to increase ecciciency and reduce waste
