• Monday to Thursday: 16:00 – 21:00
• Friday: 11:30 – 15:00
  Contract Type: Temporary (ongoing, with potential for temp-to-perm)

Job Description

Careermakers are recruiting Machine Operators for a well-established food production company in New Mills. This is an ongoing opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

About the Role

We are seeking hardworking and reliable Machine Operators to join a busy bagging team. The role involves operating and monitoring machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly, and carrying out quality checks.

Please note: This is a physically demanding role involving frequent heavy lifting throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bagging machinery to ensure efficient production
• Carry out regular quality checks on products
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Handle materials and products, including repetitive heavy lifting

Requirements

• Previous experience in a production or machine operator role is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive heavy lifting
• Good attention to detail and strong safety awareness
• Reliable and able to commit to the shift pattern
