Machine Operator

Production / Machine Operators – Burnley

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client in the Burnley area for Production / Machine Operators to join their growing team.

The Role

The role involves working within a busy production environment where duties will include:

• Operating production machinery

• Mixing batches of products

• Moving finished products using a Counterbalance FLT truck

• Working as part of a team to ensure production targets are met

• Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail

FLT training can be provided for candidates who do not currently hold a licence.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment

• Experience operating machinery

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work well within a team

• Good work ethic and reliability

Hours & Salary

Rotating weekly shifts:

• AM Shift: 5:30am – 1:30pm

• PM Shift:

  • Monday – Thursday: 1:20pm – 9:30pm

  • Friday: 12:30pm – 6:40pm

Pay:

• £12.41 per hour

• 39 hours per week

• £210 monthly shift allowance

• Equivalent to  £13.65 per hour

There is potential for pay increases after 6 months, subject to training and performance.
